Hi. My name is Mikhil Mistry. I am a senior software engineer based in Mumbai with more than ten years of experience across software design and development, reporting, and data analytics. I write about the things I learn building web applications, working with data, and a few things outside of code, among other things.

Most of my recent work has been full stack. I spent close to five years building in-house applications and REST APIs in Node.js and TypeScript, with React on the front end. Before that I worked closer to the data, as an analyst and a database administrator, designing dashboards and reports and turning messy datasets into decisions with SQL, Power BI, and Excel. I hold a master’s in Management Information Systems from California State University, Fullerton.
